Lutron Electronics, Coopersburg, PA, announced October 27 that it has broken ground on its fourth Experience Center, which will open in the heart of midtown Manhattan in early 2009.
The new, 1,800-square-foot Experience Center will be located on the ground floor of the Decoration & Design (D&D) Building, located at 979 Third Ave. The Manhattan location will feature a variety of Lutron’s residential products showcased in space typical of New York City living. In addition to bedroom, kitchen and media/family room vignettes, a showroom and design center will give clients the opportunity to view a wide variety of product colors, finishes, sustainable lighting control options and shade fabrics, the company stated.
The Manhattan location marks the company’s fourth Experience Center. Other locations include Irvine, CA; Coopersburg, PA; and the company’s first Experience Center, which opened in 2001, in Plantation, FL.
