Allied Manufacturers of Motorized Products (AMMP), Loveland, CO, today announced the launch of a Web site, www.ammp.info, that it says will serve as the online headquarters for its motorization industry members.
    The site will provide members with resources and a forum to assist each other in growing their businesses and the industry, as well as information on the benefits of motorization that aims to generate awareness of “smarter homes,” according to an AMMP statement.
    In the future, the site also will include items designed to assist customers, including a dealer locator that will connect AMMP customers and member dealers. This will form a bridge between the billion-dollar industry made up of window coverings and shadings, projection screens and media concealment products and the rapidly growing multi-billion-dollar home automation market, it added.
