San Benito Shutter Co., Inc., Hollister, CA, has opened its new Southeastern Distribution Center in Covington, GA. Bill Lee, president, indicated that the company chose Newton Country, GA, because of its proximity to the shipping hub of Atlanta. The company plans to handle all of its shipments from Texas to Florida out of the Covington facility. “This strategic location will allow us to serve the entire United States with shipping times of 48 hours or less,” noted Lee.
    Scoot Allen, formerly of Plymart, has been hired as warehouse manager for the new facility. Kevin Green has been hired to head up the inside sales efforts. Jeff Hoffman has been hired to head up the outside sales efforts.
