Three winners have been named in the 2009 Slipcover Design Contest, held during the Slipcover Summit in June in Seattle, WA.
    The third Annual Slipcover Design Contest had nine entries submitted from professionals from the United States and Canada. Members of the Slipcover Network voted for their favorites either online or at this year’s Summit.
    The winners are:
•    First Place: Krystal Close, Krystal’s Design, Mars, PA. Close has been in business for eight years, but has spent more than 20 years creating window coverings for friends and family.
•    Second Place: Deb Fowler, Deb Fowler Designs, Sun City West, AZ.
•    Third Place: Teal major, Slips Slipcovers, Berkley, CA.
