In today’s economy, custom rules—and shutters fit right into that mix of products dealers count on for a strong portion of their total sales.
In response to the DWConline.com poll running the month of October 2008, shutters stood strong among dealers offering a mix of products. While no one replied shutters represented 100 percent of their sales, shutters were a solid performer.
• A large portion of respondents (79%) derive up to 20 percent of sales from shutters
• None of the respondents reported receiving more than 60% of their total sales from shutters.
• A small, but significant, percent (14%) are nearly split evenly, deriving between 41% and 60% of total sales from shutters.
• In between, 7% of respondents report shutter represent between 21% and 40% of total sales.
