ROWLEY NAMES JUST VP MARKETING
Rowley Co., Gastonia, NC, has announced Stacey Just has been named vice president of marketing. Just will lead the marketing function for Rowley, including print, online and direct response advertising.
Just most recently worked at Lowe’s Companies managing marketing for the hardlines business division. Past experience includes brand management for ReliaBilt Doors & Windows and EverTrue Moulding, two of Lowe’s proprietary brands. “We are delighted to bring [Just] onboard to lead our marketing efforts. Her background in product management, branding, advertising and direct response marketing will help build the Rowley brand and positively impact sales,” said Bill Taylor, CEO.
Founded 28 years ago and known for its customer service, Rowley Co. is a manufacturer and distributor of decorating supplies and more (see D&WC, December 2007, page 24).
VINCENT, BOYLES PRESENTED DESIGN AWARDS
Sheree Vincent, fusion designed, and Carol Boyles, Carol Boyles Interiors, have been awarded multiple ASID awards. Their award-winning three-season porch and deck were presented: The People’s Choice Award for favorite gathering space, 2007 Interior Design Competition Award, second place in the Residential/Model Home category and were featured as a “Showcase Home,” for ASID.
Vicent and Boyles came to Warren Steven Window Fashions, Minneapolis, MN, for Hunter Douglas Provenance® woven wood shades for the designs. “We chose Provenance woven wood shades because they fit in with the whole design scope of the project,” Vincent said. “The natural material brought the outdoors inside and the color related beautifully to the interior and exterior of the home.”
WOODFOLD ADDS GHIOTTO TO SALES
Woodfold Mfg. Inc., Forest Grove, OR, has announced the addition of Michael Ghiotto to the company’s sales team. Ghiotto joined the company in September 2007 had has recently completed extensive training related to Woodfold’s manufacturing systems and product lines.
Ghiotto’s background in the building products industry includes experience with McMillan-Bloedell, Western International Forest Products, International Wood Products and Orepac Building Products.
COMFORTEX HONORS DONNELLAN’S SERVICE, ADDS TWO SALES MANAGERS
Comfortex Window Fashions, Maplewood, NY, recognizes a 20-year milestone and has hired two new territory sales managers.
Jim Donnellan has been with Comfortex since 1987 and was honored for his 20 years of service. He has held various positions in sales management since 1990 and currently is director of northern sales.
“[Donnellan] is a great asset to the company,” said John C. Fitzgerald, executive vice president. “Through the years of leadership and dedication, Jim has developed Comfortex business and leads by example.”
Comfortex has appointed Terri Martinelli to the position of territory sales manager for New Jersey. Prior to joining the company she served as the vice president of customer service and sales for Next Day Blinds. She went on to become the business project manager/executive assistant for Phoenix International, Washington, DC.
Garth Maberry is the new territory sales manager for Northern California and Nevada. He brings more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience with building and design products to his new post. Mayberry served as sales representative for Contractors Wardrobe and has worked for a wholesale building products firm. He was introduced to the window treatments industry as a member of the Fashion Tech sales team.
