of their businesses. Pre-show Workshops take place Tuesday, January 31 from 9
a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Seminars take place 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Wednesday, February 1 through Friday, February 3 and 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday,
February 1 and Thursday, February 2.
In 2006 two of the window coverings industry’s top names—Margie Nance,
Custom Home Furnishings School; and Jamie Gibbs, Jamie Gibbs and Associates—will
present seminars opening the world of window coverings to Surfaces attendees.
In 2006, Installation Showcase sessions, which are free to attendees, will be
located on the show floor at the Sands Expo & Convention Center. Each of
the seven hour-long sessions is designed to help floor covering professionals
prevent mistakes and increase productivity and profits in their stores. The sessions
cover color and working with new products and materials.
