It has been said time and again: Customers these days are looking to beautify their surroundings, beginning with their homes.
In September, DWConline.com asked, What are your customers’ top concerns when purchasing custom window treatments? Beauty wins, hands down!
• Half of all respondents said their customers are looking for beautiful treatments.
• Light control was the next highest response (20%), supporting the need for functional treatments.
• Surprisingly, privacy was reported as a top concern by only 10% of respondents. Perhaps, most customers already have functioning (light control/privacy) treatments and are looking for beautiful overtreatments to complete the look.
• The good news: price or budget was a concern for only 10% of respondents.
• Under “other,” one respondent’s comment of “Loss of heat” might have captured an important trend given rising energy costs and the time of year.
