These days, every sale counts. But what is the average sale of custom window treatments, and how do your sales compare? The answers depend, of course, on the products you’re selling and the market you’re aiming at, but it has become an industry perception that the average sale is around $1,000 to $1,500.
In July, www.DWConline.com asked the question and the responses seem to verify the perception:
• Almost half of our respondents (47%) reported their average sale at “up to $1,500.”
• One-third of respondents are able to take sales to the next step between $1,500 and $2,500.
• Two out of 10 respondents are aiming high, and hitting the mark with average custom treatments sales at more than $2,500.
