The State of the Industry, part III
Levolor Kirsch has been through a lot over the past few years in
cleaning up and restructuring, but now the “heavy lifting” is
over and the company looks ahead to reestablishing its top-class
status. Where does president Jeff Hohler see the company fitting
into the “fairly healthy” condition of the window coverings
industry? Get the full story in the May 2004 issue of D&WC.

What Did We Ever Do Before the World Wide Web?
The quickness with which the window coverings industry has embraced the speed
and economy of the Internet is nothing less than explosive—from e-mail
to e-commerce, this was all new stuff just a few short years ago. Draperies & Window
Coverings launched the industry’s first independent Web site in 1996 and
we’ve just never stopped. (D&WC features some of the industry’s
top Web site.)
In this month’s newsletter we take a look at how the Internet has changed
the way the industry educates itself, promotes its businesses and has altered
the way it thinks about homes. |
