WCAA NOTE

NATIONAL ORGANIZATION GROWS THROUGH CHAPTERS

The WCAA is on the rise due to the growth of local chapters. It has had six new chapters start up in the past year, totaling 18 current chapters. Several more chapters (below) will start up early in 2004.

The WCAA national office provides financial support for new chapters, incentives and promotions to chapters and promotional discounts for chapter members only. Teresa Grysikiewicz, chapter development assistant, is in place to help chapters through the start-up process.

WCAA Industry Partners (vendors and suppliers) realize the value of being a part of a national association and want to grow its local chapters.

New WCAA chapters have just started this spring and summer in the following areas:

• Southeast Louisiana: Diane Holden, (985) 845-4593
• Richmond, VA: Nancy Dervaes, (804) 269-5551
• Southern New England: Pat Mahler, (401) 438-3606
Several new chapters are in the works and plan to have their first meetings in the next few months. Call to get on the mailing list to attend the first meeting.
• Long Island, NY: Jean Fuoco, (631) 207-2912
