OXFORD HOUSE TEAMS WITH MISSY BLAINE

Oxford House, Inc., Fowler, IN, has announced a new partnership with Missy Blaine to create a bold and exciting custom collection that will be marketed as the M. Blaine Custom Collection.

“We are very excited about working with Missy Blaine. She brings a tremendous amount of enthusiasm and professional ability to the project,” said Polet Senesac, Oxford House president.

“Her design taste and feel for the market, in both fabric and product design, is incredible. We believe the market is more than ready for this designer line of fabrics, custom top treatments, and accessories,” Senesac added.

The line’s new products will be easily priced, easily installed, and shipped within five to seven days, the company says. The new collection will consist of swags, valances, cornices, throw and fitted bedspreads, duvet covers, designer pillows, bed scarves and pet beds.

POLYDESIGN SHUTTERS APPOINTS LOCKWOOD

PolyDesign Shutters, Tarrent, AL, has appointed Don Lockwood as Southeast regional sales manager. He brings to his position more than 34 years experience in the window coverings industry including sales, marketing and manufacturing.

Lockwood will specialize in new sales accounts and assist each company during the process of setting up its facility for fabrication. His position will help PolyDesign give step-by-step assistance to fabricators. “This enables us to promote our fabricator program as a full-service program rather than being just a component supplier,” said Larry Gardner, founder and president of PolyDesign Shutters.

HOULES HIRES GAUDRON

Houlès-U.S.A., Los Angles, CA, has hired Sylvain Gaudron as product manager for the Nicodecor by Houlès division.

Gaudron has served several years working in the trimmings industry and in franchise distribution. He replaces Christophe Roger, who has returned to Houlès et Cie to work as product manager for the company’s hardware and upholstery supply.

WAVERLY APPOINTS DOMBROSKY DESIGN MANAGER, HOME FASHIONS

Dombrosky will manage the design and development of all finished products for the division. She previously was at WestPoint Stevens, Inc. where she held the position of stylist. More recently she was design manager and was responsible for coordinating all aspects of design direction from concepts to finished products.
