TECHNIKU NAMES NEW PRESIDENT, TOP MANAGEMENT

Techniku, Inc., Denver, CO, has announced three new appointments including Timothy Bates, a standing member of its board of advisors, as president and CEO. Bates brings 20 years of business leadership to his new position. He has been essential in building businesses that excel and become market leaders and has worked in both large Fortune 500 companies and smaller start-up firms. Most recently, Bates consulted to companies in the technology and communications industries and holds advanced degrees in business and engineering. He will report directly to the company’s supervisory board.

Jeffrey Mitchell has been named director of sales. He has more than 17 years of sales and sales management experience. Most recently he was with Levolor/Kirsch, where he held sales and sales management positions of increasing responsibility over the last 10 years. As director of sales, his primary responsibility will be to build and maintain a dynamic sales team focused on providing the highest level of support for Techniku’s wholesale fabricator partners.

Jeffrey Clem has been promoted to the position of director of operations. He has more than 18 years of experience in manufacturing and operations management. Before joining Techniku three years ago as the operations manager, Clem worked for large systems and electronics OEMs and a start-up telecommunications company.

Techniku Inc. is an international leader in the manufacturing of window covering automation components and systems sold through the window coverings industry and is an OEM supplier of automation solutions sold through the building and home automation industry.


OXFORD HOUSE NAMES KNOWLES NATIONAL DIRECT SALES EXEC

Oxford House, Fowler, IN, has announced the appointment of Teresa Knowles to the position of national direct sales executive. Knowles has more than 13 years experience in the window coverings industry from both a sales and retail standpoint.

Knowles has owned and operated her own retail storefront for the past seven years in addition to being an instrumental part of the production of that business.

Knowles will service outlying markets by focusing her efforts on assisting retailers and designers build their businesses through quality tele-sales.
