News Makers SAKASHITA CLEBRATES 20 YEARS AT TOSO Masami Sakashita, general manager, overseas department, for Toso Co. Ltd. celebrated 20 years of employment with the company this past year. Sakashita is responsible for developing the international sales of Toso products outside of Toso’s home market of Japan. At the International Window Coverings Expo in March, he stated, “This past year marks the start of our efforts to develop sales in the U.S. market for our company’s components. Toso is excited about the prospects of working with and selling to fabricators in this country.” GILMORE HIRES BRADLEY FOR EASTERN REGION Gilmore Enterprises, Chatsworth, CA, announces the addition of Tony Bradley as Eastern Regional Manager. He will service Gilmore customers east of the Mississippi and eastern Canada. Bradley’s responsibilities include the continued support of Gilmore’s two-inch and vertical componentry programs, SoftView distribution, and the new rollout of CountryView two-inch basswood slat material, 2 1/2-inch basswood shutterblind slat material, and a new pre-finished basswood plantation shutter component program. Bradley has enjoyed an illustrious career in the window covering industry for more than 20 years. He started his window coverings career with Profile selling vertical hardware to the Florida vertical fabricator group. He has spent the last 16 years with Allied & ITA servicing the eastern United States and Canada with products for the fabricator group. |
