Products and equipment exhibited at this West Coast regional trade show.

The Pacific Home Fashion Fair, this year held at the San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, CA, August 6 to 9, admitted 2,000 attendees from 13 countries, according to show producers Messe Frankfurt, Inc. and Window Fashions magazine. Many of the show's visitors were interior designers who came to see the window coverings products, textiles and decorative accessories displayed by exhibitors. While the main product thrust at the show was window coverings, some textiles, decorative accessories and hardware, wall coverings, electronic and motorized systems, quilting machines and workroom products and equipment also were exhibited. A trimmed schedule of 17 Window Fashions Certified Professional Program seminars was held along with several social events. The Friday evening Harbor Side Party featured a drawing for a Caribbean cruise for two. The winner was Mel Brice of Mardo Australia. A luncheon featured keynote speaker, Joseph Ruggiero, the host, executive producer and design director for two programs on the Home & Garden Television cable network. The 1998 Pacific Home Fashion Fair will be held August 14 to 16. at the Tropicana Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.
