GCABC REORGANIZES MANAGEMENT TEAM Gulf Coast American Blind Corp. (GCABC), Naples, FL, has reorganized its management team initiated by its business growth. Todd Hoffman has been added as sales manager and Wayne Garrick has been reassigned as marketing manager. Bringing more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience to GCABC, Hoffman began his career in 1979 as a sales trainee for Chiquita Brands International Protein Group in his hometown of Albany, NY. For 17 years he held various positions in senior level sales and marketing management as well as general management for divisions doing in excess of $75 million annually. In 1996 he accepted a vice president of sales and maketing position for Lykes Brothers Meat Group, and after a short stint with his own business in 1998 accepted the sales manager position at GCABC. Since joining GCABC as sales manager in 1995, Garrick has handled many responsibilities. In 1998 he was assigned the additional responsibility of marketing manager. Now, he will have an opportunity to redirect his focus to marketing beginning with enhancing communications with external audiences and customer training. Additionally, he will work on new product development and corporate growth with Carlos Diaz, president and CEO. KATZ JOINS LTL LTL International Inc., Dallas, TX, announces the addition of Alan Katz as its new Western U.S. sales and service representative. He will handle sales and provide technical assistance and training for the company's customers in the western states. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the window coverings industry to his new position. Katz started working in his parents' decorating business as a teenager in upstate New York, eventually becoming the owner and operator. He also worked with Comfortex Window Fashions for 13 years, where he was the company's technical services manager, and most recently the plant manager of its Sparks, NV, facility. BREWSTER WELCOMES HANNIGAN Brewster Wallcovering Co., Randolph, MA, welcomes Frank Hannigan to its Northern Region where he will service retail customers in New Hampshire and Maine. Hannigan brings 10 years of sales experience and an extensive background in the wall coverings industry to his new position.
