Streamlined show brings industry back to Las Vegas.
|
The Pacific Home Fashion Fair returned to Las Vegas, NV, this year to a new venue and a more condensed agenda. For the first time in its three-year history as the Pacific Home Fashion Fair, formerly known as the Western World of Window Coverings, the exhibit floor was open for only two days, Friday and Saturday, August 14 and 15.
During that time a total of 1,700 attendees from 12 countries visited the show, according to producers Messe Frankfurt, Inc. and Window Fashions magazine. Attendees represented retailers, interior designers, fabricators, jobbers and distributors. Their interest was in the more than 60 exhibitors showcasing window treatments, decorative accessories and hardware, motorized systems, wall coverings, textiles and manufacturing and workroom equipment. This year the Pacific Home Fashion Fair was held at the Tropicana Convention Center at the south end of the famous Las Vegas Strip. The venue proved to be easily accessible, which added to the appeal of the city itself. Many visitors travelled from California and the Southwest to attend. Buyers from Mexico, Europe and Asia also attended, according to show organizers. The date and location for the next Pacific Home Fashion Fair have yet to be announced. |
