RAMDIN, WOODCOCK TAKE REINS AT LANSCOT-ARLEN

Clement Ramdin, formerly chief of operations for Lanscot-Arlen, New York, NY, has assumed the role of chief executive officer following a buyout of the company's assets and businesses by senior management and Equity Capital Partners, Atlanta, GA. "We benefit from the combination of one of the most experienced management teams and one of the most stable, technically innovative workforces in the industry. The Lanscot-Arlen reputation and extensive product line reflect this expertise," Ramdin said.

Robert Woodcock, head of Lanscot's sales and marketing efforts, will assume the additional role of president. In his new role, Woodcock will work with Ramdin to harmonize and coordinate the sales side of the business. Woodcock indicated that over the years Lanscot has developed strong partnerships with both its customer base and its suppliers. "As our partners have come to expect, we will continue to commit ourselves to provide new product leadership and support for existing programs."

GULF COAST WINDOW COVERING PROMOTES VAN WART

Gulf Coast Window Covering, Houston, TX, has announced the promotion of Tara Van Wart to the position of director of training and education. She has been with the company for more than four years and has worked in several areas including customer service, internal sales and integrated database management.

In her new position, Van Wart will be active in developing and presenting all of Gulf Coast's training programs including the new Window Fashions Shoppe, Shutter Tech and Installers Certification Programs from Hunter Douglas Window Fashions.

MOSS NAMED PRODUCTS MANAGER AT WINDOW FASHIONS, INC.

Michelle Moss has joined Window Fashions, Inc., Cheswick, PA, as a products manager for vertical, pleated and cellular shades with specific emphasis on vertical production. She brings nine years of managerial experience with Benthin to her new post.

 

MIZSAK JOINS SOMFY

Christine Mizsak recently joined the inside sales department at Somfy Systems, Inc., Cranbury, NJ, where she will work as a sales administrator. Mizsak will be responsible for providing customers with technical service as well as order support. Her previous experience has incorporated both sales and purchasing for a manufacturing and a distribution company.

FSC APPOINTS THREE

FSC Wallcoverings, New York, NY, has announced three new appointments.

Amy Capano has been appointed Interior Solutions Merchandising Specialist serving the territory that includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Westchester County, New York. Most recently she was department manager for Paintpourri, Hackettstown, NJ, where she sold and merchandised wallpaper and home fashions products.

Jenny Harkins has been appointed account manager serving Georgia. She comes to her new post with almost 20 years in both the wallpaper and interior design industries.

Kevin Murphree has been appointed account manager serving northern Texas including the Dallas, Fort Worth metroplex. He brings almost 20 years in the wall and floor coverings industries to his new position.

SEABROOK ADDS FOUR ACCOUNT EXECS

Seabrook Wallcoverings, Inc., Memphis, TN, has added four account managers.

Patrick Ingram has joined the company as account executive serving the territory of eastern Texas, northern Louisiana and southern Arkansas.

New account executive Ken Katz will serve the metropolitan New York City area and lower New York.

Ben Reuther has joined the company as account executive for the Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater, FL, area.

Marsha Wilson has been named the account executive for Houston, TX.
