Natural Beauty

From public service announcements to educational curriculums to presidential candidates, today's consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the environmental implications of many of the items purchased and used on a daily basis. This growing group also is starting to ask more questions about—and base purchasing decisions on—the fact that the products they select are not harmful to the environment, contribute to the depletion of precious natural resources or waste energy. As a home's gateway to the great outdoors, windows and window treatments play an important role in satisfying aesthetics as well as eco-friendly performance needs.

Natural Essence by Parkview Designs was recently introduced by Brewster Wallcoverings Co. Natural Essence offers a collection of fabrics, coordinating wall coverings and borders reflecting the many soft and neutral shades and patterns of nature. Featured in this photograph is wall covering pattern 215-64748; border 215B64792; and a linen window treatment constructed of bluster leaf fabric in a parchment colorway.   Parkview Designs
the spectacular surroundings   The natural beauty of the spectacular surroundings of this home are enhanced by the installation of Vista window film. Neutral in appearance, Vista films filter out harmful ultraviolet rays to maintain color brilliance and reduce fading of fabric furnishings, wool carpets and even the wood furnishings. Vista also helps to hold heat inside in the winter and to keep the interior cool in the summer, thus saving energy costs as well.
