Baker New ADO Agent ADO, Spartanburg, SC, has appointed Jim Baker as the sales agent for upstate New York. Baker has more than 30 years experience in the draperies industry having worked in sales for several leading companies. After 20 years in California, he has moved back to New York. Ansell Named Credit Manager Window Fashions, Inc., Cheswick, PA, announces the addition of Bonnie Ansell to its accounting staff. Ansell has been named credit manager. She brings several years of accounting experience to her new post. Faltyn Joins Lafayette Sales Lafayette Venetian Blind, Inc., West Lafayette, IN, has added Linda Faltyn to its sales staff. Faltyn will be territory manager for New Mexico and Colorado. She brings nearly 10 years of experience having worked as a manufacturer's representative. Faltyn has a bachelor's of science degree in business from the the University of Albuquerque. Dixon Appoints Morgan John Dixon, Inc., Cleveland, OH, has appointed Patricia A. Morgan as its sales representative for northern Ohio. Morgan founded Peeler, Inc., an interior design firm specializing in window treatments. Her extensive experience in that business will enable her to service the company's designer clientele. Management Additions at Window Concepts Window Concepts, Wilson, NC, has made several additions to its corporate management team. Frank A. Mazza has been named president, chief operating officer. Previously he was president and CEO of Powerhouse Entertainment, a multi-media software company based in Dallas, TX, and Los Angeles, CA. Stephen Acker has been named executive vice president, chief financial officer. He joined the company in 1994 as vice president of operations responsible for manufacturing and distribution, plant operations, purchasing, inventory management and quality control. In his new post he will focus his energies on developing the company's financial strategies. Mark Pardue has been named senior product manager. Formerly he was with CHF Industries where he was responsible for home center sales, marketing and product development. Rosenthal Covington Contract VP Gary Rosenthal has been named to the new position of vice president of Covington Industries Contract, New York, NY. Covington Industries Contract comprises Covington Contract, Fortune Contract and Spectrum Contract and services the decorative fabrics needs of the hospitality and health care industries. Hatteberg Joins Brewster Steve Hatteberg has joined Brewster Wallcovering Co., Randolph, MA, on the company's Midwest sales team where he will service retail customers in the Chicago, IL, metropolitan area. He brings to his new post more than 20 years of sales and management experience in the wall coverings industry throughout the Midwest. He spent the last six years as a regional sales manager for a national wall coverings distributor. Seabrook Announces Top Awards Seabrook Wallcoverings, Inc., Memphis, TN, has named Steve Moses, Raleigh, NC, the 1997 Account Executive of the Year. The award was announced during Seabrook's 47th annual sales conference held in Olive Branch, MS. The award is based on sales performance in book plans, stock and contract as well as overall increased sales. Seabrook's Northeast region won the Region of the Year award. Members of the group include: Michael Pingeton, regional sales director; Andrea Cohen; Edna Czyz; Tim Devlin; Danielle Grecco; Nanci Hooper; Ellyn Lowers; Bill Norton; Jackie Quinn; Penny Remick; Gail Smith; and Bernie Weinstein. Susan Young, San Diego, CA, received the Book Placement Award. Sherry Furman, Boca Raton, FL, won the Contract Award. Robert Roll, Memphis, TN, won the Stock Award. Seabrook Adds to Sales Team Three new account executives have been added to the sales team at Seabrook Wallcoverings, Inc., Memphis, TN. Joy Kimberl, Goshen, KY, has been hired as the new contract account executive for Louisville and Lexington, KY; Indianapolis, IN; and Cincinnati and Dayton, OH. She has 12 years of experience in the contract furniture industry. She will handle the wall coverings needs of corporate, hospitality and health care clients throughout the territory. Following five years of experience in similar industries, Pat MacFarland, West Jordan, UT, is the company's new account executive for Utah, Idaho and Montana. She is a past member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Robert Roney, Southampton, PA, will service customers in Maryland and northern Virginia.
