CROSS PROMOTED TO VP SALES, DEVELOPMENT AT ROLLEASE

RollEase, Inc., Stamford, CT, has promoted David Cross to vice president of sales and development. In addition to his direct sales responsibilities for all OEM accounts, he also will work to implement and secure a global strategy for the company that will enhance its domestic and international positions.

Cross joined RollEase in 1997. Prior to that he held several positions with Burlington House where he was responsible for vertical blinds and special order draperies.

KUTELL HEADS VERTILUX MARKETING

Vertilux Collection, Miami, FL, has appointed Ben Kutell national marketing and sales director. He will be responsible for managing the sales and marketing of the company's brand and customer service. As part of his new responsibilities, Kutell will lead Vertilux's expanding sales force and advertising departments.

Kutell brings extensive senior executive experience in all areas of marketing and sales to his new post. He has been working with the company in sales for several years. Kutell is a graduate of Cornell University and has an MBA from Tulane University.

GILMORE NAMES ROBINSON VP SALES

Gilmore Enterprises, Chatsworth, CA, has appointed Craig Robinson vice president of sales. He brings to his new position experience from a 25-year drapery industry career, which includes working with Hunter Douglas, Blind Design and, most recently, as an independent sales representative selling to most major fabricators.

Robinson will be responsible for the company's national sales effort, product marketing and merchandising and will be instrumental in product development.

TRONER JOINS AUDEYO

Seth Troner has joined Audeyo International, Miami, FL, as vice president of sales and marketing. He brings 14 years of window coverings experience to his new position having served most recently as director of sales at Vertilux.

Troner's responsibilities will include the sales and marketing of the company's two-inch products throughout the Unites States.

TECHNIKU APPOINTS KITTELSON SYSTEMS COORDINATOR

Guy Kittelson has been appointed systems coordinator for Techniku, Inc., Denver, CO. He is new to the window coverings industry, but previously has worked in the electronics industry assisting manufacturers with design and production as well as serving as a networking and computer consultant.

Kittelson's responsibilities include the redesigning and implementation of the company's systems and achieving ISO 9001 status in the near future.

SOMFY PROMOTES RUH

Jim Ruh has been promoted to sales administrator in the inside sales department at Somfy Systems, Inc., Cranbury, NJ. He comes to the position from the company's receiving department and is well versed in its shipping and order flow. Ruh also will be responsible for providing customers with technical service and order support.

ON-SITE PROMOTES REYNOLDS, HIRES LIVINGSTON

The On-Site Corp., Hayden Lake, ID, has promoted Cathy Reynolds to the position of vice president of marketing. The company also has named Rosalind Livingston national accounts manager.

Reynolds and Livingston will coordinate a new marketing campaign for the company's proprietary cleaning system.

HAMILTON ADDED AT BTX

Jennifer Hamilton has been added to the growing customer service staff at BTX Window Automation, Inc., Dallas, TX. As traffic coordinator, Hamilton will process incoming orders, monitor order status and answer general scheduling questions for customers.

NEW WALL COVERING DIRECTOR AT STROHEIM & ROMANN

Jeannette Ledoux-Chen has been named to the newly created position of director of wall coverings for Stroheim & Romann, New York, NY. Ledoux-Chen has been styling wall coverings for nearly a decade and previously worked with J. Josephson and Waverly.

BARNEY PROMOTED AT LANDS' END

Lands' End, Inc., Dodgeville, WI, announces that Deborah D. Barney has been promoted to vice president of Coming Home, the company's specialty catalog of home products, primarily bed and bath. She has been managing director of the Coming Home division since she joined the company in 1997.

Prior to joining Lands' End Barney spent three years with Norm Thompson Outfitters, Inc. and 15 years with L.L. Bean where her various positions included product manager for home furnishings.

HARVEY NAMED PRESIDENT OF JOHNSTON'S GREIGE DIVISION

Johnston Industries, Columbus, GA, has named Harold Harvey president of its Greige Fabrics Division. He will have primary responsibility for the division's Opp & Micolas Mills and Columbus Mill.

Harvey brings more than 40 years of worldwide experience to his new post. Since 1994 he has headed his own textile management consulting firm, Harvey T.M.C. International.
