Orlando Show Breakfast
WCAA will host its Third Annual Breakfast on Friday, March 21, 1997, from 7:45 to 9 a.m. at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL. The program will include the WCAA Industry Achievement Award and recognition of new Certified Window Treatment Consultants. Tickets are available at the on-site registration desk.

Board of Directors Meeting
The first board meeting of 1997 will convene March 19, 1997 in Orlando, FL.

Board members will have the opportunity to discuss plans for the coming year under the guidance of new president Larry Lariviere, vice president LaVelle Pinder, executive director Mark Nortman and treasurer Jack Fox.

New Board Members
Mark Nortman of St. Louis, MO, is the new WCAA executive director. Steve Walton, Shades of the Future, Beaverton, OR, is director at large. Shelley Ball, Annette's Drapery Designs, is the regional director for the Midwest Region.

New Chapter in Eastern Pennsylvania
On February 11, 1997, the initial meeting was held in Kennett Square, PA, for the new eastern Pennsylvania local chapter.

Host Janice Giancola of Bear Windows, introduced guest speaker Bonnie Kramer, the regional director for WCAA. The topic for the evening was the start-up of new local chapters. The dinner menu included fresh mushroom soup, as Kennett Square is known as the mushroom capitol of the country.
