BTX NAMES KEENAN GENERAL MANAGER, KRAMER SALES MANAGER

BTX Holdings, Inc., Dallas, TX, announces the promotion of Kevin Keenan to general manager. Keenan has been with the company since 1994 and has held various positions in operations, sales and management. Most recently he was manager of sales and marketing of the BTX Window Automation division.

In his new position Keenan will direct all the activities of BTX Window Automation, Inc. as well as BTX Supply. BTX Window Automation manufactures custom-built motorized window coverings systems for traversing, roller and lift applications. It incorporates the electronic control division that specializes in providing solutions for off-the-shelf, as well as highly customized operating control systems. BTX Supply supplies motors, controls and hardware to fabricators and assemblers of window coverings systems.

The company also announces the promotion of Robert Kramer to sales manager. In this position he will direct both inside and outside sales operations and place an emphasis on partnership building with the company's customer base.

Kramer came to BTX in 1999 from a sales position with one of its affiliated companies. He has been responsible for the launch of BTX Supply and most recently was sales development manager for BTX Window Automation.

 

TEXTON NAMES SALES MANAGER

John Bell has been promoted to sales manager at Texton, Inc., Garland, TX. An industry sales veteran, Bell's career includes positions as territory manager and business owner.

With the expansions of Texton and his new role there, Bell will manage a sales force serving Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana, as well as implement marketing programs.

WAVERLY APPOINTS VICE PRESIDENT

Evan Melnick has been promoted to vice president, sales and merchandising for Waverly Home Fashions, New York, NY.

Melnick will direct sales and merchandising efforts for the home fashions segment of the Waverly brand. He will oversee the placement of home fashions products to expand the current channel of distribution and increase the sales volume.

Melnick received his masters of business administration from Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA, and his bachelors of arts from the University of Georgia, Athens, GA. He joined Waverly in July 2000 as director, sales and merchandising of Waverly Lifestyle Group.
