New Industry Partners The Window Coverings Association of America (WCAA) is proud to announce the newest addition to its growing list of Industry Partners. WCAA Open House The WCAA will hold a cocktail party and open house in conjunction with the Pacific Home Fashion Fair from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, August 13, 1998, at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. This will be an excellent opportunity to network with peers, discuss industry issues and business needs. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Enter to win a free WCAA membership for 1999. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Call WCAA for more information or to register. Board Meeting The WCAA will hold its semi-annual board meeting, August 14, 1998, in Las Vegas, NV. Among agenda items, the board will discuss the expansion of educational programs and updating the Certified Window Treatment Consultant Program. Also on the agenda will be expanding the benefits available to the membership as well as other issues that will help guide the association in the coming years. Members may bring issues to their regional directors in advance of setting the final agenda for the meeting. Membership Directory The first annual WCAA Membership Directory will be distributed beginning the second week in July.
