Help Is Out There

The Internet can be a good place to find design and decorating help.

by Sharon L. Anderson

CHALLENGE:As a professional in the window coverings industry, I use the World Wide Web for much of my research in finding new and innovative window treatment specialists, suppliers, manufacturers, interior design information and places for fresh and new ideas.

Can you offer some additional sites that you would recommend as a place for additional inspiration?

SOLUTION:Of course! Many Web sites offer design and decorating tips and useful information about products and how to use them. Draperies & Window Coverings' Web site, www.DWCdesigNet.com, is a good place to start. It includes every article from each issue going back to 1996 as well as the magazine's Directory & Buyer's Guide.

Below I have listed other sites that I hope will also inspire you! I have included descriptions of each site to assist you. Several of these sites are interior design related. In addition, some of these other sites also offer articles on products with contact information.

If you have additional Web sites or would like to be listed in this ongoing list of interior design related sites, please email Sharon Anderson at Dezign2001@aol.com.
