WCAA Northeast Open House
Networking was the greatest benefit of the June 12, 1997, open house hosted by Ron and Carol Mills of the Window Within in Plaistow, NH. Nearly two dozen WCAA members from New Hampshire and Massachusetts attended. Industry Partners Comfortex Corp., Mayflower Textiles and Mill Supply presented their newest products, and Jill Dellinger of Northeast Fringe Exchange presented a great variety of products from Conso Products Co. and The Claesson Co.
Ron Mills, a certified shutter installer, gave a short presentation on a measuring and installing program he offers to decorators in the northern New England area.
At a short business meeting Carol Sackler welcomed new members Christine Dole of Nashua, NH, and Jill Dellinger of Sandwich, NH. The next meeting is scheduled for July 17, 1997. For information call (508) 481-6324, or e-mail: csackler@aol.com.

Next Certified Window Treatment Consultant Test
The deadline is fast approaching for registering for the Certified Window Treatment Consultant Program at the Pacific Home Fashion Fair in San Diego, CA, on August 6, 1997.
As the most comprehensive, single educational program in the industry, it requires a minimum of one month self-study in preparation for the review seminar and examination at the show, so don't miss out by being too late. Gariepy to Keynote WCAA Breakfast Symposium
Dick Gariepy of Gariepy Motivation will be the keynote speaker at the WCAA Breakfast Symposium in conjunction with the Pacific Home Fashion Fair in San Diego, CA, on August 8, 1997. Gariepy's seminar is sponsored by The Blind Maker, Lafayette Venetian Blind Co. and Messe Frankfurt.
