BALENTINE-GUNN HEADS ROLLEASE INTERNATIONAL SALES RollEase, Inc., Stamford, CT, announces the appointment of Kathleen Balentine-Gunn to the position of director of international sales. She formerly was the director of international marketing and customer services at U.S. Surgical Corp., a division of the multi-million-dollar, international firm TYCO. Balentine-Gunn's immediate responsibilities include the planning and implementation of strategic sales and marketing initiatives for Asia, Europe, Latin America and Africa. COMFORTEX NAMES YAGER FINANCE VP Comfortex Corp., Maplewood, NY, has announced the appointment of Christine Yager as vice president of finance. Yager joined the company in March 1999 as corporate controller. Prior to that she was with Mineral Technologies as controller, Norton Co. as manager of general accounts, and Cooper & Lybrand in both New York City and Albany, NY. She is a certified public accountant in the state of New York.

BREWSTER ADDS HEITZ, PIERSON TO SALES Brewster Wallcovering Co., Randolph, MA, welcomes Joanna Heitz as the newest member of its Mid-Atlantic sales team. She will service retail customers in western Virginia; Cumberland, MD; eastern West Virginia; and southeastern Kentucky. Heitz brings more than seven years of experience in retail sales and management to her new position, most recently as a retail clothing store manager. Brewster also welcomes Jeff Pierson as the newest member of its Southern sales team. He will service retail customers in the Florida Panhandle and Alabama. Pierson brings more than 18 years experience in retail sales and management to his new post. NGPP REGIONAL DIRECTORS/ALTERNATES ELECTED The National Guild of Professional Paperhangers (NGPP), Dayton, OH, recently held elections for the two-year terms for regional and alternate directors. NGPP directors oversee membership and events in the organization's seven districts. They are members of the board of NGPP, which is an association of more than 800 devoted exclusively to the profession of wall covering.
