ITA STRENGTHENS INTERNATIONAL SALES EFFORTS

ITA, Inc., St. Augustine, FL, has announced the appointment of Eddie S. Herrera as manager of new product development with the primary responsibility for the Caribbean, South America and Central America markets.

Herrera will focus on deepening ITA’s relationships with its customers south of the border, broadening the overseas customer base with additional fabricators and distributors, and managing the introduction of new product lines into those markets.

Most recently a sales manager for Iggesund Tools USA, Oldsmar, FL, Herrera brings to ITA an extensive and varied background in international sales and marketing, export/import operations and customer service. He has developed a specialized knowledge of Latin American markets while serving in industries such as paper manufacturing equipment, specialty concrete, building materials and financial services. He has also headed his own international marketing company.


GULF COAST ADD RAPP TO SALES TEAM

Gulf Coast Window Covering, Houston, TX, announces the addition of Beth Rapp to its Dallas sales team. Rapp comes to Gulf Coast with more than six years of outside sales experience working with the dealer channel. She joins Gulf Coast’s established Dallas sale representatives, David Stone and Mimi Sanders in servicing accounts in Dallas and surrounding areas. She primarily will be responsible for accounts on the north side of the city.


COSGRIFF TO REPRESENT BOMAR IN NORTHEAST

Bomar Trimming, Inc., Lake Worth, FL, announces that Stu Cosgriff and his team are joining Bomar as exclusive sales representatives for Bomar’s decorative trimming lines to manufacturers in the Northeast. The line will be shown at Cosgriff’s showroom in New York City, NY.

Stu Cosgriff, Stacy Cosgriff and Jennifer White currently represent Valdese Weavers in the territory. They count among their customers numerous manufacturers and jobbers. The trimming line will complement their fabric offerings and provide many of their customers a one-stop solution for their fabric and trimming product needs.


STROHEIM & ROMANN NAMES SULLIVAN VP, SALES

Stroheim & Romann, Long Island City, NY, has named Daniel Sullivan to the position of vice president of sales. Sullivan had been one of the company’s national sales managers.

In his new position, Sullivan will oversee sales for Stroheim & Romann, as well as the JAB and Chivasso collections that the company distributes.

Sullivan joined Stroheim & Romann in 1995 as a sales representative and was promoted to the position of national sales manager in October 1998. Prior to joining the company, he was an independent sales agent for a domestic textiles manufacturer.
