LUTRON APPOINTS WEINSTEIN VP SALES

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc., Coopersburg, PA, has announced that David Weinstein will assume the newly created position of Sales Vice President, Market Development. Weinstein has served the company as sales Director, Window Systems.

In his new role, Weinstein will be responsible for sales of Lutron shading systems, leading that business to its next level of success. He will also identify new opportunities for Lutron, specifically in the state of Florida.

Weinstein began his Lutron career in 1999 with 23 years of industry experience. He has successfully led several teams, including a national training program and the Northeast sales region. In 2005, Weinstein led the shading system sales team to record growth.

UNIQUE WHOLESALE ADDS GLEESON TO SALES FORCE

Unique Wholesale Distributors, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, has added Mark Gleeson to its sales force. He will service the state of Georgia and be based out of Atlanta.

Gleeson brings with him 14 years of experience as a window coverings rep. His career started in Chicago, IL, in 1992. He has a strong sales background and product knowledge to ensure Unique’s high standards for meeting customer needs.

TWOREK MOVES TO COMFORTEX LOGISTICS

Comfortex Window Fashions, Maplewood, NY, has announced that Jeff Tworek has joined the logistics department as the SAP Configuration Analyst.

Tworek has been with Comfortex for eight years. Prior to 2006 he was responsible for training, quality and documentation within the Comfortex engineering departments. He now is involved in product configuration and control activities with SAP material management applications.
