Inspiration
So you wake up, drag yourself out of bed, jump in the shower and you are still not awake until that first morning cup of coffee. Ahhh, that first cup of coffee just really makes a difference in some people’s lives. Now they can think clearly and just basically relax for that moment and think about their busy day ahead of them.

I am just not a coffee person! Besides that fact, coffee gives me migraines. You could say, instead, that I am a bit of a quote person. I know that may not really make sense, but I wake up every day and search for my quote of the day. If you have ever left me a voice mail message you may have heard some of my quotes. You may have even been one of the lucky ones to get one of my favorite quotes attached to my e-mails. You can truly learn a lot from other people’s quotes. In our industry, whether we’re designers, owners, installers, fabricators or salespeople, we are always looking for the next job or customer to influence us. We crave inspiration by reading industry related trade magazines, attend trade shows and search the Web, etc, looking for stimulation. I would like to share this with you in hopes that it will give you new inspiration. This following quote was from a 2005 movie: “Coach Carter.”

COACH KEN CARTER: What is your deepest fear?

TIMO CRUZ: Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Some people’s morning vice is coffee, mine is a good quote.

And you can quote me on that!
