On
D&WC and the window coverings industry gather
to celebrate two-and-half decades of success.
In celebration of
its 25th year in publication, Draperies & Window Coverings held
a Silver Anniversary reception March 31, in Tampa, FL.
In addition to celebrating D&WC’s milestone anniversary,
the reception was held as a show of appreciation to the many companies
and individuals that have supported the magazine and the industry
from the earliest days—companies such as Rowley Co., Morantz
Ultrasonics, Comfortex Window Fashions, Elero and Mastervisions.
Along with these old friends, many new friends and industry leading
manufacturers and suppliers were invited guest, including Norman
International, Vertilux and Superior Roman Shades.
From mid-1981 and into the 21st century, the window coverings industry
has grown, evolved and yet in many ways held fast to its essential
concepts: knowledge, value and innovative products create and sustain
success over the long run. Honoring these concepts was at the heart
of the celebration.
The D&WC Silver Anniversary reception was held in the
Luna di Mare room of the Wyndham Harbor Island hotel. For night
owls, the festivities extended on into the night in a waterfront
cabana at the hotel’s Jackson restaurant, which turns into
one of Tampa’s hottest weekend dance clubs. Salute! |
