St. Louis Chapter Sponsers Barrett Daylong Seminar

The St. Louis (MO) Chapter of the Window Coverings Association of America is presenting an all-day seminar with Deb Barrett, award winning designer, professional speaker and author. Barrett is presenting “Window Treatment Inspiration and Design Seminar” from 2 until 8:30 p.m. Thursday, November 17 at Spazio’s Westport Garden Room, St. Louis, MO. Registration fee is $100 for St. Louis chapter members and $135 for non-members.

A buffet dinner also will be included in the cost as well as door prizes and informational booths set up by the sponsors for the day: KDR Interior Resources; Hilson Blinds, Inc.; and Kasmir Fabrics. Area designers, window covering professionals and vendors are encouraged to attend.

Three seminar topics will be covered by Barrett: “Window Fashion Inspiration,” “Do You Speak Windows?” and “It’s All in the Details.” As anyone who is familiar with her knows, the chapter is looking forward to the live samples, runway show along with design and fabrication details. It’s a great a photo opportunity so don’t forget to bring along a camera. You’ll go home with designs and details to add to your portfolio.

Registration deadline is November 11, so put it on your calendar and plan to attend. For more information contact JoEllen Reinwart at (314)993-4884; e-mail: JEMn2drape@ aol.com.
