Surfaces 2006 prepares to open a world of opportunity to attendees striving to succeed.


Every year 40,000 retailers, architects, designers, builders, installers and distributors from around the world attend Surfaces for the products, answers, strategies, trends and opportunities they need to succeed.

Surfaces 2006 opens January 31 and runs through February 3 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV, and again Draperies & Window Coverings magazine has teamed with show management as the official sponsor of the Surfaces 2006 Window and Wall Coverings Pavilion.

Surfaces 2006 provides attendees in the floor coverings industry with many opportunities:

• Meet face-to-face with more than 1,000 exhibiting companies.

• See thousands of new products in every product category.

• Get the quality education you need to be more successful.

• Earn Continuing Education Units (CEU/CES) to give yourself a competitive edge.

• Learn the latest installation techniques through live, how-to demonstrations.

Exhibitors from around the world showcase all their latest products and services with major manufacturers in every product category represented. Surfaces 2005 had a record-setting 1,054 exhibiting companies.

QUALITY EDUCATION

Surfaces offers top-notch education opportunities through its 2006 Conference Program. More hot topics, fresh ideas, critical business information and new speakers mean more success for retail professionals.

Attendees are sure to find the educational seminars they need to stay on top of their businesses. Pre-show Workshops take place Tuesday, January 31 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Seminars take place 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 1 through Friday, February 3 and 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 1 and Thursday, February 2.

In 2006 two of the window coverings industry’s top names—Margie Nance, Custom Home Furnishings School; and Jamie Gibbs, Jamie Gibbs and Associates—will present seminars opening the world of window coverings to Surfaces attendees.

In 2006, Installation Showcase sessions, which are free to attendees, will be located on the show floor at the Sands Expo & Convention Center. Each of the seven hour-long sessions is designed to help floor covering professionals prevent mistakes and increase productivity and profits in their stores. The sessions cover color and working with new products and materials.

Laticrete is the Official Sponsor of the 2006 Installation Showcase in conjunction with International Certified Floorcovering Installers Association (CFI), Floor Covering Installer and National Floor Trends magazines and the World Floor Covering Association (WFCA).

The official sponsor of Surfaces is the World Floor Covering Association (WFCA), the floor covering industry’s largest advocacy organization representing floor covering retailers, contractors and allied service providers throughout North America. The WFCA is a recognized leader in industry education and certification programs, and influences public policy affecting the floor covering industry and consumers.
