It's a Natural
The character and personality of woven woods keep them favorites among window coverings products.

by Marco Bonilla

Quality woven wood shades are in great demand. People love their natural character and the warmth they lend to any room. Woven woods seem to bridge the gap between indoors and outdoors by bringing a touch of nature inside and creating a feeling of perfect harmony and serenity. Part of the appeal of woven woods is, as with people, no two woven woods shades are exactly alike. Just as with all things in nature, each of these natural materials is imbued with its own character and personality.

Our company began making and selling bamboo and Roman shades 25 years ago. Over this period, we have seen the market grow greatly as people gravitate towards the use of natural materials. With this growth, woven woods have become a large percentage of our overall business.

As the market grew, we began offering bamboo shades in custom paint colors and stains. To keep pace with the demand and to expand our product selection, we recently began distributing Century Woven Woods. There is a broad range of woven wood products on the market, ranging from the bargain basement, ready-made quality to the high-end with details such as select quality materials, hand sewn rings and top-quality finishing. This means there is a woven wood product for every client’s budget. However, as with anything, most clients appreciate quality products and good service and are willing to pay a bit more to get it.

SELLING WOVEN WOODS
Many consumers know the benefit of a professional’s knowledge and experience in helping them choose a product that will serve its purpose beautifully and with little maintenance. A quality product is a detail that means a lot to discerning consumers.

Success in selling woven wood shades is simple—it boils down to the same ingredients that create success with any product: Offering a good product at a fair price; presenting it in a manner that solves a problem or meets the customer’s needs; and being knowledgeable of the features and benefits of the particular solution.
